The Pacific Disaster Center’s (PDC Global) Friday, June 12, 2026, Tropical Cyclone Activity Report…for the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, and the Gulf of America

Current Tropical Cyclones:

There are no Tropical Cyclones

 

Atlantic Ocean: There are no active tropical cyclones

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7 days.

Caribbean Sea: There are no active tropical cyclones

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7 days.

Gulf of America: There are no active tropical cyclones

>>> Western Gulf:

Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad area of low pressure moving west-northwestward over the Bay of Campeche remain disorganized.

Environmental conditions are forecast to be only marginally conducive for development before the system moves inland over eastern Mexico by Sunday.

The system could re-emerge over the northwestern Gulf on Tuesday or Wednesday while interacting with a frontal boundary, but conditions there are also expected to be only marginally conducive for development.
