The Pacific Disaster Center’s (PDC Global) Wednesday, September 10, 2025, Tropical Cyclone Activity Report…for the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, and the Gulf of America

Current Tropical Cyclones:

There are no Tropical Cyclones

 

Atlantic Ocean: There are no active tropical cyclones

Eastern and Central Tropical Atlantic:

A tropical wave is forecast to emerge offshore of west Africa in a couple of days.

Environmental conditions could support some slow development of the system over the weekend into early next week as the wave moves to the west-northwest at about 15 mph over the eastern and central tropical Atlantic.

* Formation chance through 48 hours…low…near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 7 days…low…30 percent

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7-days.

 

Caribbean Sea:  There are no active tropical cyclones

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7-days.

Gulf of America:  There are no active tropical cyclones

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7-days.
