Current Tropical Cyclones:

Tropical Cyclone 32W (Fung-wong)…is located 29 NM east-southeast of Kadena, AB – Final Warning

 

Northeast Pacific Ocean: There are no Tropical Cyclones

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7 days.

Central Pacific Ocean: There are no Tropical Cyclones

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7 days.

Western Pacific

Tropical Cyclone 32W (Fung-wong) – Final Warning

According to the JTWC warning number 38…sustained winds are 30 knots with gusts to 44 knots

The circulation has fully opened becoming integrated into the frontal zone to the east of Okinawa, Japan. Cloud top temperatures have warmed dramatically showing no signs of deep convection. The system will fully dissipate by 12 hours, while near gale force winds are expected to persist, being enhanced by the cold air advection associated with the frontal zone even after 12 hours.
