The Pacific Disaster Center’s (PDC Global) Friday, October 17, 2025, Tropical Cyclone Activity Report…for the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and adjacent Seas

Current Tropical Cyclones:

Tropical Cyclone 03W (Fengshen)…is located approximately 305 NM east-southeast of Manila, Philippines

Tropical Cyclone 04S…is located approximately 107 NM east-southeast of Diego Garcia

 

Northeast Pacific Ocean:  

South of Southern Mexico:

Invest 91E

>>> Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad area of low pressure located a couple hundred miles off the coast of southern Mexico remain limited and disorganized. Development of this system is no longer expected.

Central Pacific Ocean: There are no Tropical Cyclones

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7 days.

According to the JTWC warning number 1, sustained winds are 30 knots with gusts to near 40 knots

According to the JTWC warning number 1, sustained winds are 35 knots with gusts to near 45 knots
