Shower and thunderstorm activity remains disorganized in association with a westward-moving trough of low pressure located over the central Caribbean Sea.

Environmental conditions could become a little more conducive for some development over the next couple of days before the system moves inland over Central America by this weekend.

Regardless of development, this system has the potential to produce heavy rains over portions of Central America late this week and into the weekend.
