The Pacific Disaster Center’s (PDC Global) Friday, May 24, 2024, Tropical Cyclone Activity Report for the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean, and the Gulf of Mexico
CURRENT TROPICAL CYCLONES:
There are no active tropical cyclones at this time…although there’s an area of disturbed weather in the southwestern Atlantic under investigation by the NHC
Southwestern Atlantic:
A weak area of low pressure located a few hundred miles south of Bermuda is producing disorganized cloudiness and showers. This system is expected to move northeastward during the next day or so, and development into a tropical or subtropical cyclone
is not expected due to unfavorable environmental conditions.
