The Pacific Disaster Center’s (PDC Global) Saturday, June 1, 2024, Tropical Cyclone Activity Report for the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean, and the Gulf of Mexico

CURRENT TROPICAL CYCLONES:

There are no active tropical cyclones at this time

There are no active tropical cyclones at this time, nor any areas of disturbed weather under investigation by the NHC

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 7 days.

Today marks the first day of the Atlantic hurricane season, which
will run until November 30. The long-term averages for the number
of named storms, hurricanes, and major hurricanes are 14, 7, and 3,
respectively.
