Current Tropical Cyclones:
Tropical Cyclone Adrian…is located about 395 miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico
Northeast Pacific Ocean:
Tropical Cyclone Adrian
ADRIAN CONTINUES MOVING SLOWLY WESTWARD
According to the NHC advisory number 6…
Adrian is moving toward the west near 6 mph (9 km/h). A slow motion toward the west or west-northwest is expected during the next few days.
Maximum sustained winds are near 80 mph (130 km/h) with higher gusts. Some additional strengthening is forecast into Thursday. Weakening is likely to begin Thursday night or Friday.
Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 15 miles (30 km) from the center, and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km).

Showers and thunderstorms are showing signs of organization in association with a broad area of low pressure located a few hundred miles south of the coast of southern Mexico.
Environmental conditions appear conducive for development of this system, and a tropical depression is likely to form during the next couple of days while it moves generally west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph, roughly parallel to the southern and southwestern coasts of Mexico. Interests along the southwestern coast of Mexico should monitor the progress of this system during the next several days.
