Invest 91W is  in a favorable environment for development, with low to moderate 10-20 knot wind shear, good poleward outflow, and warm sea surface temperatures. Global models are in good agreement that Invest 91W will strengthen and consolidate as it tracks west-northwestward. Maximum sustained surface temperatures are estimated at 18-23 knots. The potential for the development of a significant tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours is upgraded to high.     https://www.nrlmry.navy.mil/htdocs_dyn_apache/PUBLIC/tc_pages/thumbs/medium/tc21/SHEM/93S.INVEST/ir/geo/1km_bw/20210217.031500.SH932021.seviri.msg-4.Infrared-Gray.25kts.100p0.1p0.jpg There’s a second tropical disturbance being referred to as Invest 93S, which is located approximately 161 NM northeast of Maxixe, Mozambique Here’s was the computer models are showing According to the JTWC, satellite imagery reveals a large area of unstructured, flaring deep convection…offset to the northwest above a low level circulation center.. 93S is currently in a marginal environment, with moderate 20-25 knot wind shear and near radial upper level outflow…being offset by continued land interaction. Global models are in good agreement that Invest 93S will track southward as it intensifies. Maximum sustained surface temperatures are estimated at 20-25 knots. The potential for the development of a significant tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours remains high.   Here’s a link to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) For real-time information on current disasters download PDC’s free Disaster Alert mobile app available for your iOS or Android devices today!
