The system will continue tracking north-northwest to northward over land while weakening rapidly. After 36 hours, 03W will recurve into the mid-latitude westerlies, experiencing increasing 25-40 knot wind shear, and over cool sea surface temperatures…which will serve to further weaken the storm. As a result, the system is expected to dissipate by 72 hours, with the remnants tracking over North Korea.     >>> Meanwhile, there’s a tropical disturbance being referred to as Invest 93W, which is located approximately 250 NM east-southeast of Davao, Philippines According to the JTWC, upper level analysis indicates a marginal environment with moderate to strong 20-25 knot northerly wind shear and broad, diffluent flow. Sea surface temperatures are warm, and conducive for development. Maximum sustained winds are estimated at 15-20 knots. The potential for the development of a significant tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours is medium. Satellite image of this area
