Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. Weakening is forecast during the next 24 hours. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 175 miles (280 km) from the center.   A tropical wave located about 650 miles east-southeast of the Windward Islands is producing disorganized showers and a few thunderstorms. Some additional development of this disturbance will be possible during the next couple of days before upper-level winds become less conducive for further organization by Thursday.
