PDC Global Hazards Atlas displaying 3 hour precipitation accumulation with NHC forecast positions, segments, winds and error cones...and sea water temperatures for post-tropical cyclone Lane (12E) in the northeast Pacific Ocean
Post-tropical cyclone Lane (12E) is dissipating in the northeast Pacific, and continues to show no thunderstorm activity anywhere near the fading circulation. As shown above, sea surface temperatures under now retired Lane are too chilly to allow regeneration. Former Lane will continue to spin down, dissipating completely over the next few days. It will remain in the eastern Pacific, rather than move into the central Pacific.
