According to the NHC, it has a low chance of developing within the next 48 hours.
1) A broad area of low pressure located over the Gulf of Honduras is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms that extend from near Jamaica westward over the northwestern Caribbean Sea for several hundred miles. Although development of this system is not expected, locally heavy rains are possible in Jamaica, Cuba, the Cayman Islands, and the coast of Honduras during the next few days as the low drifts westward.
