?More Flooding this Week!??
More flooding this week! Flooding events have been observed in many?places around the world, including Africa, Australia, and Indonesia. In Africa,?flooding was reported in Mozambique where floods have resulted in an estimated 55 people killed and 169,000 displaced between January 12 and 31 (OCHA). In Australia, flooding events were observed in Queensland and New South Wales. Additionally, hundreds of houses were reported to have been inundated by flood waters in Samarinda, located in East Kalimantan, Indonesia (ReliefWeb/Jakarta Post).
