Earthquakes around the World

Earthquake in Pakistan
The earth shook in all parts of the world this past week. In the Middle East a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Baluchistan province in Pakistan. 21,000 families were affected and 328 people are reported dead, people as far away as India and Oman felt the tremors. (ECHO)
Below, we visit South America to learn about another destructive earthquake.
Earthquake in Peru
A 7-magnitude earthquake hit about 40 km off the coast of Arequipa, Peru. This earthquake was not nearly as deadly as the earthquake in Pakistan with only 11 reported injuries. (ECHO)
