Tropical Cyclone 15E (Newton)…is located about 200 miles west-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico
Tropical Cyclone 17W…is located approximately 595 NM south of Yokosuka, Japan
Tropical Cyclone 18W…is located approximately 530 NM north-northwest of Yap
Tropical Cyclone 15E (Newton)
TROPICAL STORM NEWTON STRENGTHENS OFF THE COAST OF SOUTHWEST MEXICO
Newton is moving toward the west-northwest near 13 mph (20 km/h). This motion is expected to continue during the next couple days with a decrease in forward speed.
Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Some slight strengthening is forecast during the next day or so, followed by steady weakening thereafter.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center.

There are no tropical cyclones nor any areas of disturbed weather under investigation by the CPHC

According to the JTWC Warning number 2, sustained winds were 25 knots with gusts to near 35 knots.
Tropical Cyclone 18W
According to the JTWC Warning number 1, sustained winds were 30 knots with gusts to near 40 knots.
