Post-Tropical Cyclone 17E (Paine)…is located about 450 miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja CaliforniaLast Advisory

Tropical Cyclone 03S…is located approximately 851 NM east-southeast of Diego Garcia

PostTropical Cyclone 17E (Paine) – Last Advisory

PAINE BECOMES A REMNANT LOW

The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west-northwest near 3 mph (6 km/h). A westward to west-northwestward motion is expected over the next day or so.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
Additional weakening is forecast, and the remnant low is expected to dissipate within a couple of days.

Central Pacific:

There are no tropical cyclones nor any areas of disturbed weather under investigation by the CPHC

Northwest and Southwest Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea:

South Indian Ocean

According to the JTWC Warning number 1, sustained winds were 35 knots with gusts to near 45 knots.
