Tropical Cyclone 05E (Darby)…is located about 680 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California

DARBY EXPECTED TO BECOME A HURRICANE BY MONDAY

Darby is moving toward the west near 17 mph (28 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue with a gradual decrease in forward speed over the next few days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts.
Strengthening is expected during the next couple of days or so, and
Darby is forecast to become a hurricane on Monday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 35 miles (55 km) from the center.

>>> Offshore of southern Mexico:

An area of low pressure is forecast to form south of the southern coast of Mexico in several days.

Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for some gradual development of this system thereafter while it moves westward to west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph, remaining offshore of the southern coast of Mexico.

Central East Pacific:

There are no active tropical cyclones, nor any areas of disturbed weather being investigated in the north central Pacific by the Central Pacific Hurricane Center (CPHC)

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days in the central Pacific Ocean.

There are no tropical cyclones, nor any areas of disturbed weather being investigated by the JTWC.
