The Pacific Disaster Center’s (PDC Global) Thursday, June 13, 2024, Tropical Cyclone Activity Report…for the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and adjacent Seas

Current Tropical Cyclones:

There are no tropical cyclones

 

Northeast Pacific Ocean:

Offshore of Southern Mexico and Central America:

>>> A broad area of low pressure located a couple of hundred miles southwest of Acapulco, Mexico, is producing limited shower and thunderstorm activity. Some slow development is possible this weekend and early next week while the system moves slowly
east-southeastward and interacts with a broader circulation that is
forecast to develop offshore of southern Mexico and Central America.

* Formation chance through 48 hours…low…10 percent
* Formation chance through 7 days…low…20 percent

Central North Pacific:

No tropical cyclones are expected during the next 7 days.

Western Pacific, Indian Ocean and adjacent Seas
