The Pacific Disaster Center’s (PDC Global) Monday, July 1, 2024, Tropical Cyclone Activity Report…for the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and adjacent Seas

Current Tropical Cyclones:

There are no tropical cyclones

 

Northeast Pacific Ocean:

>>> Offshore of Southern Mexico:

A broad area of low pressure is expected to form in a day or so afew hundred miles south of the coast of southern Mexico.

Some gradual development of this system is possible thereafter, and a
tropical depression could form during the next few days while it moves west-northwestward between 10 to 15 mph.

* Formation chance through 48 hours…low…20 percent
* Formation chance through 7 days…medium…50 percent

Central North Pacific:

No tropical cyclones are expected during the next 7 days.

Western Pacific, Indian Ocean and adjacent Seas

There are no areas of disturbed weather under investigation by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC)
