The Pacific Disaster Center’s (PDC Global) Thursday, July 11, 2024, Tropical Cyclone Activity Report…for the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and adjacent Seas

Current Tropical Cyclones:

There are no Tropical Cyclones

 

Northeast Pacific Ocean:

>>> Central East Pacific:

A tropical wave producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms is located over Central America. The system is forecast to move westward at 10 to 15 mph across the tropical East Pacific during the next few days.

Conditions could become favorable for some slow development of the wave next week as it approaches the central portion of the basin.

* Formation chance through 48 hours…low…near 0 percent
* Formation chance through 7 days…low…20 percent

Central North Pacific:

No tropical cyclones are expected during the next 7 days.

Western Pacific, Indian Ocean and adjacent Seas

There are no areas of disturbed weather under investigation by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC)
