Tropical Cyclone Activity Report – Pacific Ocean / Indian Ocean / Arabian Sea

Tropical Cyclone 19P (Keni) is located about 540 NM south-southwest of Niue – Final Warning

 Tropical Cyclone 19P (Keni) is moving by offshore far to the northeast of New Zealand – Final Warning

Here’s a satellite image of this tropical cyclone…along with what the computer models are showing

Here’s a near real time wind profile of this typhoon

Maximum sustained surface winds, as of the JTWC warning #11 are estimated to be 65 knots…with gusts to 80 knots.

Meanwhile, there’s a tropical disturbance circled in orange above, which is being referred to as the remnants of TC 17P (Iris)…located approximately 436 NM northeast of Cairns, Australia

Maximum sustained surface winds are estimated at 20-25 knots.

The potential for the development of a significant tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours remains medium.
