Tropical Cyclone Activity Report – Pacific Ocean / Indian Ocean / Arabian Sea

There are no active tropical cyclones at the time of this writing

However,  there’s a tropical disturbance (circled in red above), being referred to as Invest 95W…located approximately 515 NM south of Bangkok, Thailand

Global models generally indicate a gradual development over the next 24-36 hours, as the system tracks northeastward to northward over the Gulf of Thailand…along the east coast of the Malay Peninsula.

Maximum sustained winds are estimated to be 20-25 knots.

The potential for the development of a significant tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours is high
