Tropical Cyclone Activity Report – Pacific Ocean / Indian Ocean / Arabian Sea

Tropical Cyclone 27W (Saola) is located about 64 NM south-southeast of Yokosuka, Japan – Final Warning

Tropical Storm 27W (Saola) is dissipating, which will be moving very close to southern Japan… clipping Tokyo

Here’s a satellite image of this system, along with a looping satellite image…and what the computer models are showing

Maximum sustained winds as of JTWC Warning #40 sustained winds were 55 knots with gusts of 75 knots.
