Tropical Cyclone Activity Report – Pacific / Indian Oceans

Tropical Storm Gil (07E)…is active in the eastern Pacific…located approximately 2255 NM eastward of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Strengthening tropical depression…sustained winds of 50 knots, with gusts to near 65 knots). 

Tropical Storm Jebi (09W)…is active in the South China Sea…located approximately 427 NM southward of Hong Kong (Strengthening tropical storm…sustained winds of 35 knots, with gusts to near 45 knots).
