SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 750 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MANZANILLO MEXICO HAVE CHANGED LITTLE IN ORGANIZATION THIS MORNING. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE BECOMING UNFAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT…AND THIS SYSTEM HAS A MEDIUM CHANCE…40 PERCENT…OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT AROUND 10 MPH.
DISORGANIZED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE IN ASSOCIATION WITH A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 400 MILES SOUTH OF MANZANILLO MEXICO. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE ONLY MARGINALLY CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT BUT ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME LESS FAVORABLE WITHIN A DAY OR SO. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE…20 PERCENT…OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES SLOWLY WEST-NORTHWESTWARD.
