A low pressure area centered about 900 miles southwest of Honolulu is moving west slowly. Isolated thunderstorms occurring on the periphery of the low level circulation center have been weak and sporadic over the past six hours. Atmospheric conditions remain unfavorable for significant development. There is a low chance, 10 percent, of this system becoming a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours.
Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through Thursday morning.
